Just saw this 12 minute short film documentary about the men who are continuing the regal (the only word that comes to mind) tradition of painted advertising on buildings.

In this beautifully shot, beautifully told short we’re exposed to the moral that to something of value, something beautiful and worthwhile …it demands patience …it requires sacrifice, suffering …it involves integrity and rewards with pride. That pride though, is not often shared by public approval and recognition, but is most often just between the men who shared in the task of creating art together.
Gosh, watch it for yourself, please tell me what aspect of the film touched you!
Me Llamo es Justin. I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up yet. But for the mean time I'm a Christ-follower, a husband to my beautiful wife, a new dad to my amazing son and I like things. Nothing specific really, art, film, coffee, beer, theology, fatherhood, fellowship, free-thinking, tattoos, digital design, ...and I'm sure there's something I'm leaving out too. I'm going to blog about those things, and I hope in doing so, I learn something about myself, and something about you!

Awesome find. Kassy & I really enjoyed this. I think the thing that struck us most was that instead of just hanging a picture (vinyl), these guys were up there creating art.
